EXPORT DOCUMENT  IN VIETNAM

WHICH DOCUMENT EXPORTER NEED TO PREPARE WHEN EXPORT CARGO FROM VIETNAM?

Accordingly Vietnam Customs’ Rule, Exporters are required to prepare enough equipment and document to make export customs Procedure.

I/ Exporter is Company:

1st Step: Register with customs to update tax code numbers to the import-export system

2nd Step: Buy token Key from suppliers to declare electronic customs declaration form. 

3rd Step: Prepare declare electronic customs declaration form.

Which documents exporter need to declare:

–           Commercial Invoice

–           Booking confirmation (which show terminal cargo arrive, port of loading, port of discharge, port of delivery, estimate departure date, vessel/voyage…etc)

–           VGM (confirmed gross weight of cargo)

–           Container No/ Seal No (if export by FCL)

After declare electronic on Vnacss/Vcis cnee system, Declaration form will be sorted into 03 type:

+ Group 1: Green (automatic clearance on system, have not to check details document)

+ Group 2: Yellow – Exporters are requested to present export document for checking by customs.

+ Group 3: Red – Customs will check export document at first, if okay will inspect cargo. Inspection will be screening or by manual inspection.

4th Step: Present document to Vietnam Customs for checking and clearance (get green light to export)

With General commodity, Vietnam customs only request:

– Commercial Invoice

– EIR (Equipment Interchange Receipt) with FCL cargo

– Or Reception at CFS warehouse with LCL cargo

If exporters is FDA company, when make export customs commercial invoice required only.

II/ Exporter is individual: You must hire a customs agent to make customs declarations and clear the goods for export. or use the form of export consignment.

WITH SPECICAL CARGO SUCH AS: WOOD, PRODUCT OF WOOD, MINERAL OR RICE… EXPORTER ARE REQUIRED TO PRESENT: PERMIT EXPORT LICENSE, CERTIFICATE ORIGIN OF WOOD…
